Subject: Bedroom Necessities at "A Better Way"

Greetings Friends and Partners,

It gives us here at A Better Way great pleasure to inform you that we have been granted the certificate of occupancy for the home in Senioa.
We are now ready to move residences into the home, however we are in need of bunk beds for them. 

 A Better Way would love to give you another opportunity to help us in this very important project.Our goal is to build 15 sets of beds in our carpentry shop.To do this we will need to purchase lumber, materials, twin size mattresses and bedding.We have estimated around $75.00 per set for lumber and materials,  $200.00 per set of mattresses, $65.00 per bed for linens, pillow, and blanket. We are also buying the lumber and hardware to build each set of chest of drawers which will run around $70.00 each. This would put the the cost around $370.00 per student. This would total around $370 x 30 = $11,100.00. We realize that this is a lot of money and that the economy is soft but we have not turned a man away in 5 years in spite of the fact that 90% have nothing to contribute. God has always provided. Each week more and more men appear. Each week more and more are healed. The Lord is really pouring out here in this season. 

We have worked very hard over the last year building our newest home and we have been as frugal as possible (and then some :-)  We were able to build a 5000 sq. ft. home with 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, a huge kitchen, and 2 classrooms. We were also able to install sewage, and utilities, all for less than $260,000.00. But now we need to furnish it and funds are tight. So please consider us as one of your places to sow your seed this month. We promise that it will be well watered and well attended to. Thank you for your consideration.

Also, please mark your calenders for our 2nd benefit here at the farm on October 9th. John Waller and 2 other bands will be doing music. We will have a Christian comedian, guest speakers, and great food. Please set aside this day to come and celebrate 5 years with us. We value you and thank God for the friends that we have made through the broken lives of others, because Genesis 50:20 says "What the enemy means for harm God always means for good that many people's lives may be saved." So we rejoice that no matter what it looks like, "All things are working together for good".
